I started working for an electric cooperative one week out of high school. Doing everything from entering AMR/TWACS meter data into Lotus (anyone remember this pre-Excel dinosaur?) to taking Member payments and from leading up a Pre-Paid Meter implementation team to creating Member-focused forms for Construction Services, I worked my way up to Vice President. Overseeing the Member Services Team, one goal was to find coop-specific, non-corny training for anyone at the coop who came in contact with a customer (MSRs/CSRs, cashiers, accounting, line techs - everyone).
In 2017, I created interactive, immersive training on member services, communication, team building, and leadership that worked for everyone at the coop. I soon found myself training at cooperatives and conferences around the US. After being certified as a John Maxwell trainer and with the blessing of my cooperative, I moved from employee to US-coop trainer and created On3OnPurpose & On3Ministries to provide values-based training to cooperatives, businesses, churches, and schools around the US.

I love any verse with a promise - and there are many! But this verse resonates with me. Our purpose - if nothing else - is to use our lives to draw men, women, children, families, and everyone to the Savior.
Michael & I met in 1998. God told me (that's right) that I'd marry Michael. In 2007 Cole was born & completed our family (along with Bentley the dog). We love our church, traveling, baseball, and jazz. Okay, I'm the one who likes jazz...
Ha! Well, I love violin music, Mediterranean food, Hallmark movies, and The Office. I love old hymns and the smell of church pews. I can pretty much win any contest involving singing all the words to hymns or Christmas carols.
This changed in 2021 - not my calling, but the way I fulfill that calling. I have always been a writer, and I feel God is prompting me to encourage & empower women through my recent book and Bible study.
(And, yes, I learned to type on an ancient typewriter)
